The mission of Onyx Fine Arts is to promote, inspire and serve as a resource for artists of African descent. We aim to bring awareness to the creative output of these artists by providing venues and hosting exhibitions of their works to be shown and appreciated by the greater Northwest community.

We are committed to cultivate and create programs to inspire children and youth who are interested in the visual arts and those who want to pursue a career as visual artists.

Onyx Fine Arts Collective is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to fill a void in the Pacific Northwest region by providing opportunities for emerging and established artists of African descent and to showcase their creative strength and range of visual expression. Onyx understands the significance of sharing and celebrating commonalities and differences through visual art, as art allows for communication at a basic level unfiltered by written and spoken language.
